is an island in Southwest Florida. There is a iconic Lighthouse on the island that was built at the end of the 19th century. Every Sunday, from November through April, they have a Farmers’ Market that runs from 8 A.M.- 1 P.M. The farmers’ market is located right behind Sanibel City Hall.

They have quite a diversity of vendors.

Seafood,

barbecue,

cheese,

vegetables,

peanut products,

nuts,

chocolate,

pasta,

confections both gluten-free and not,

pickles,

soaps

and plants.

One merchant even had organic rocks.

I was assured they were gluten-free and best steamed.

This was a really fun thing to do on a Sunday morning and a really good excuse to visit Sanibel Island. I cannot wait until the market starts up again in November.

Another fun day out and another review on Forks.
