is a park in Lee County, FL.
Every year, a local chapter of the Kiwanis hosts a Medieval Faire in the park.
After finding the entrance,
getting tickets
and entering the Faire,
my dining companion (DC) and I decided to check out some of the food.
There were a number of vendors serving food such as this one
with a variety of Fare
including breads,
meats
and of course, turkey legs.
Having eaten beforehand, DC and I passed on the food.
There were a number of interesting people wandering around the grounds

and entertainment including this great band, The Craic,
who were reason enough to attend the faire. If you get a chance, Check Them Out.
There was even a merchant who after a number of dips in wax,
was willing to give you a hand.
Of course, what would an medieval faire be without crystals,
boots,
psychics,
and Jousting.
If you find this isn’t your type of thing, it’s a really good excuse to take a walk around Lakes Regional Park.
The Riverdale Kiwanis Medieval Faire runs the weekends of January 10th and 11th and 17th and 18th from 9 A.M-6 P.M.
