Miramare (to gaze at the sea in Italian) Ristorante,
is an Italian-themed restaurant in Naples, FL. It is located in The Village on Venetian Bay,
a collection of shops and restaurants.
When entering the restaurant there is a small bar,
and one can dine inside
or weather permitting, outside with a beautiful view.
Miramare has a daily two-course Prix Fixe lunch special from 11:30 A.M.-3P.M.
That day, my dining companion (DC) and I decided to try the lunch special.
Some very good bread was brought to the table to start the meal (by request only).
DC ordered the Hero Sandwich with meat balls, tomato sauce and Mozzarella cheese. This came with a small Caesar Salad.
The sandwich was great, the salad, so-so. By the way, the above link to Caesar Salad is the best Caesar dressing I have ever had. It’s 1/2 olive oil-1/2 peanut oil and really works!
I ordered the chicken Cacciatore served over Saffron Risotto, which came with a house salad.
This was really, really good.
The lunch special is a great value being only $12.95 per person. The view from the outside dining area is worth that alone. I would come back without hesitation.
