Happy Hour at Bice

Bice is an Italian Restaurant on the corner of Third Street South and Fifth Avenue South in Naples, FL.  The Naples, FL restaurant is part of a group of Bice restaurants that span the globe from

San Diego to Dubai. I love to ride my bicycle for exercise so the name of this establishment is appealing to me.

Happy hour is in the bar everyday from 4-6 P.M. There are a number of tables in the bar area to sit at as well.

They have a very nice selection of snacks which are gratis during happy hour.

Among the offers that day were salami (Salami), mortadella (Mortadella),  and grilled bread with a tomato salad to make bruschetta (Bruschetta). What looked like gaeta (GaetaOlives) olives and green olives were also served.

Wines by the glass are 50% off! My dining companion chose a French rose, Whispering Angel (Whispering Angel).

I choose a Tilia Chardonnay from Argentina (Tilia Chardonnay). 

Although I thought the rose was better, not bad for $6 and $3.50 a glass for the rose and Chardonnay, respectively, at happy hour prices.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, summertime is choc-full-o’ values at many establishments in Naples. Bice is no exception. I have ordered this a few times last year but they have a menu right now that features a 3 course meal with a glass of wine for $24. 

At present, it’s limited to certain times. Last year, at some point, this menu was available all night. Let’s hope they continue that in 2013.
