GirlTalkTV 2014 Fashion Trunk Show

GirlTalkTV is an online magazine from Southwest Florida that addresses interests and concerns of women. The TV portion comes from video links the site provides. That evening they were sponsoring a Fashion and Trunk show at The Hilton Naples.

The event was held to benefit The Garden of Hope and Courage. The garden’s purpose is to be a therapeutic retreat for those with illness. Its construction was inspired by the long-term malady of one of its originators wives who eventually passed away because of it.

The event was nicely catered by the hotel. Mini Beef Wellington with Bernaise sauce, steamed Pot Stickers with a ginger-soy sauce and assorted cheeses and fruits were provided as nibbles to the guests.

There was also a cash bar as well as champagne for those with VIP tickets.

Always having liked the high-contrast black and white fashion Photos of yesteryear, here was my golden opportunity.

and choosing their clothes

DJ Andrea was setting up outside to provide music for the event.

The show was held by the hotel’s pool, and attendees started to gather for the event.

To start off the show, Sultan’s Dreams treated the crowd to a Mediterranean dance routine.

The show began and featured clothes from local shops and Boutiques. Though not in order of presentation, Femme Couture Style Studio, Helen Jon designer swimwear,

MeganRose and Lux boutique,

in addition to Source Clothing Company and True Fashionistas Designer Resale provided the fashions for the evening.

As the champagne flowed

the crowd really enjoyed the show and music.

After the models finished up

the owner of GirlTalkTV, Sherry Bryant and the director of The Garden of Hope and Courage addressed the audience and thanked them for their participation

and attendees were then treated to the trunk show.
