is the eponymously-named wine bar and bistro on Beach Road in Englewood, FL. I was called out of town for my day job and was hungry after work. Beach Road Wine Bar and Bistro really fit the bill.

They have a unique kitchen which is really a food truck and have been open about 2 years.

One of the owners told me the kitchen was set up this way because of building codes relating to the existing structure on the property. No matter, some very good things come out of this kitchen.

They have a very nice outdoor dining area,

in addition to indoor seating in their wine bar.

I ordered take out. In the 80 or so posts on this blog, this review on take out will be a first. I was not disappointed.

I ordered the dinner portion of the baby spinach salad. It was a very generous portion of spinach with JuliennedGranny Smith Apples, dried Cranberries, Sunflower Seeds, Feta Cheese and a red wine Vinaigrette. Really, really good.

I also ordered the chicken provencal. Grilled chicken breasts were placed on a bed of artichokes, olives, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, white wine and lemon. This was also very good and was still very warm upon pick-up.

This food was excellent and I would come back without hesitation.

That’s that for another review on Forks.
