is a restaurant in Bonita Springs, FL. They have a nice indoor dining space

in addition to an interesting Menu.

I was there with a group of people so I am able to talk about Wyld’s offerings more than usual.

Sourdough Bread  was brought to the table, not bad.

A number or appetizers were ordered.

A BLT salad stack, which was stacked bacon, tomatoes,  and grilled french bread with an avocado blue cheese dressing,

a wedge salad, which consisted of a wedge of iceberg lettuce, bacon, tomatoes, cucumber, blue cheese and avocado blue cheese dressing,

and Escargot. I liked the presentation here as the escargot were served in a Prosciutto bowl with garlic cream sauce and Arugula.

I ordered the enigma salad. This was duck, Shiitake mushrooms, Parmesan peppercorn dressing, romaine avocado and Capers.

It was o.k. but it just did not “pop”. After having this it was an enigma why I did not make a different choice.

Entrees ordered were scallops with bacon and a Beurre Blanc sauce,

tenderloin saga, or Filet Mignon topped with Demi-Glace, french fries and Saga blue cheese, a cheese from Denmark

and meat loaf served with demi-glace, mushrooms, and onion rings.

I ordered the liver, which was Veal Liver with Onions and Bacon and a demi-glace sauce.

This is a very classic, old time Recipe that has it’s origins from the middle of the 19th century. It was not bad, and sure took me back.

Some of the diners at out table had a sweet tooth, and ordered a few things from the dessert menu.

Cinnamon Bread Pudding  with a pecan Praline crust with Caramel Sauce and Creme Anglaise,

chocolate cake with whipped cream and creme anglaise

and a Crepe brulee which was a crepe filled with Creme Brulee served with creme anglaise and whipped cream. I stay away from things like this but everyone that tried it was very pleased.

Everyone seemed to really like their selections. Although my salad did disappoint, sometimes you just order the wrong thing.

Would I come back, perhaps but not in a rush.

It’s a wrap for another review on Forks.
