is the official designated arts organization in Lee County, FL. It’s mission is to “facilitate and nurture the arts in Lee County”. One of the many things they do is sponsor charity events. BBQ, Bands and Brew was a charity event to benefit Builders Care. This group provides home repair and renovation services to those in need. Builders care is an organization founded by The Lee Building Industry Association (Lee BIA). Lee BIA is a group that not only promotes the views of the building industry, but also provides technical and educational assistance.
A number of barbeque vendors were there.
had some nice looking Brisket, pulled pork and ribs.
and Mofos Food Truck
all provided barbecue for the event as did
Blue Crawfish Catering Company served cajun-inspired food
while Ben and Jerry’s helped cool off the crowd.
Taking about keeping cool, what would BBQ, bands and brew be without the brew.
The attendees really seemed to enjoy the food
while both big and little kids enjoyed some recreation.
After all that food, the crowd settled in
to listen to some music.
All in all, not a bad event. Another day of food and music and another review on Forks.
